It appears as if some of the links are not quite right. For example, in the ESV if I go to Genesis 19:14 and click on jesting, הָיָה / Hayah comes up in the bible word study. If I go to the lexham English bible and click on mocked, the correct word comes up.

Then there are some pronunciations that default to the Hebrew alphabet name instead of the word that they should sound like for example "lingered" is מָהַהּ (Genesis 19:16) and should not be pronounced memhayhaymappik. It is just sounding out the consonants.

This is because there are two words being translated together in the ESV and just one in the LEB

So when you click the word in the ESV (I assume you have the ESV and BWS in a linkset) the software picks up on the first lemma and not the second.

To avoid this, you would need to use the context menu and select the lemma you wanted there

While I understand this, I am assuming that the linkset is canned? The words translated "to be" is H1961, while "jesting" is H6711. In the Hebrew text they are separate as וַיְהִ֥י and כִמְצַחֵ֖ק so why are they linked together in the interlinear? So I identified this and knew that was the case as וַיְהִ֥י is used thousands of times in the word but it is annoying is all. I never ran into that issue with bible analyzer or e sword. I do not work specifically in the interlinear so the need to identify that is what happened is just a tad annoying. Don't get me wrong, I love the program. It is head and shoulders more powerful than the other two programs I just named. Discovery is both fun and aggravating lol..

The second issue I found is that on some words, the pronunciation is just sounding out the consonants and not the word such as the word for linger מההּ. The pronunciation is not Mem Hay Hay Mappik but that is what the program said it was.

From the Information panel accessible in the tool's panel menu:

Verb lexical forms are often indicated only by their consonants. In many cases, there is an appropriate vocalized form that matches the consonants given. But in cases where it is not possible to create a real Hebrew or Aramaic word by simply adding vowels to the lexical form, the names of each letter are read in turn. When this is done, the basic 23 letter names are used; no mention is made of 'final' forms, even though those are used in the writing of the lexical form. Likewise, all beḡaḏkep̄aṯ letters are read using their standard, plosive (with the dāḡēš [ּ]) names. E.g. גוף ["to shut"].

Hi and thank you for the reply. I am not concerned with diacritic marks really. That is not what I was speaking about. I was just making the remark that when I requested a vocalization for a word such as מההּ it just sounded the constants out. There is a pronunciation for it which מָהַהּ mâhahh, maw-hah’,

I really do not see the benefit in sounding out the Hebrew alphabet over the strong's pronunciation for the root but no matter. I will just let this go. Thanks. :-)
