To reproduce

Make LSB the default bible (I started with my normal default ESV)
Search Yahweh OR Yahweh's in Psalms in LSB (for simplicity)
1. create a Passage List (PL-1 635 passages)
Search lemma.h:יהוה in Psalms in LHB
1. create a Passage List (PL-2 635 passages)
Note that each PL defaults to the bible in the Search
Merge PL-1 with PL-2 by Difference

Now Merge in reverse direction

Note that LSB is the default bible in both merges.

Why does Ps 11:1 appear as a difference? In both bibles the search result is in Ps 11:1. Ps 11:title-1 above references the heading that contains Yahweh in LSB!
Why does Ps 13:5-6 appear as a difference when both bibles have the search result in v.6.
Were the other search results in Ps 13 aligned such that there is no difference?
Ps 15:1 to the end are all similar issues to Ps 11:1
In many other respects there appears to have been a correct alignment e.g. Ps 20
If I change the bible to LHB in the second Difference list (above) the "title"s disappear, but changing has no effect on the first list.

It seems to me like these are correctly different. As you note, Ps 11:1 LHB maps to Ps 11:title-1 LSB, which is not the same as Ps 11:1 LSB. Likewise, Ps 13:5 LHB maps to Ps 13:5-6 LSB, which is not the same as Ps 13:6 LSB.

Once you have exported the verses to a Passage List from search, the Passage List retains no knowledge of the exactly location of the search results. It just knows about the verse references, and those verse references are different between the two lists.

I assume you refer to the two Difference Lists in my post. But I can display Difference lists where the passages are exactly the same (the first in LSB and the other in LHB). And they are the same in the two PL's generated by the original Search. So those verse references should not be different? Also, something is going on with preferred bible as that would replace the original bibles in both Differences lists (I mentioned that I changed from ESV to LSB for this issue).

No, I mean the two lists your created from the searches. One of the search results had (after conversion) Ps11:title-1 and the other had Ps 11:1, those are clearly different and therefore it makes sense that that entry in the Passage List would show up in a difference list generated from those lists.

This part is incorrect. Ps 11.1 in LHB includes the text that LSB translated as "For the choir director. Of David" (in the chapter title). Therefore, when you convert PS 11.1 LHB into an LSB reference, the correct reference is Ps 11:Title-1 LSB. That reference is clearly not the same reference as Ps 11:1 LSB.
