I can repeatedly do this on my iPad and iPhone. Tap on Romans 8:29 and it brings up books associated with Eph 1:4-5. If I close insights and tap the verse again the correct link shows up.
Is the screenshot from your iPad? I am having trouble reproducing on my iPhone .
Yes, but here is it on my iPhone. I force-killed Logos, then opened it, tapped on v29, and it shows Eph 1:4-5.
Hmm. I can't reproduce. I am running Logos 44.1.0 on iOS 26 (pre-release beta) and the ESV is downloaded.
Is yours downloaded? If so, have you tried deleting the bible and running it from the cloud (to see if you get a different result)? You might want to delete, kill, and restart first.
yes. It’s downloaded but it has nothing to do with the ESV. I just replicated with the NKJV.
Someone else will have to chime in. It is weird that you can replicate on multiple devices, but I cannot.
FWIW there was a new update to the mobile app today on both my iPhone and iPad to 44.1.1 (44) and this bug is not fixed.
I have reached out to the webmaster and have been told that someone at Logos should take a look. Fingers crossed. :)
I figured out what the bug is. You'll note in those images I have a note for those verses. I opened up card for Rom 8:28 and it referenced Job 42! Then I opened my notes and sure enough, the first bible reference is Job 42:2. If I open up the note for Rom 8:29, the first verse linked to is Eph 1:4-5. I can easily repro this bug for any verse that has a note with a verse in the note.
