I wish to find all references to a Strong's number in Vine's dictionary.
(Typing 1961, OR H1961, OR G1961 and searching for every instance in Vine's.
All help much appreciated.

That syntax should work. It's possible you have an incorrect local index. You could try to fix it by entering the following command (and waiting for reindexing to finish):
reindex Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words
It only appears once. Note how the search is formulated if you wish to do other Strong's number searches.
I show 3 (one hebrew, two greek) due to organizing by english.
This is not working for me.
