Wondering if anyone has the Boox Tablet Go Color 7 Gen II device and could share what settings work best for them when using Logos on this tablet? Thanks.
I have the Note Air 4 C, so it might not be completely comparable.
I have it set to custom:
This makes the app very responsive, ghosting fades very quickly, and the colors pop (though not in dark mode). I don't like having it in "Regal" since it spends so much time refreshing the screen that it becomes unresponsive.
Thanks Morgan
I have the monochrome Go 7 with similar settings, mainly refresh/contrast/flicker. It looks like a lower DPI setting will shrink the top title bar down, can then adjust app text size. Under app Optimize I’d set Customize Buttons to scrolling—it doesn’t always scroll perfectly but works very well. And if you want even quicker access to the app you can bind it to page down or up.
I use very similar setting to Morgan on Note Air 3C. I differentiate in that I use a custom colour mode with contrast at 75, Vivdness at 20 and Colour brightness at 0. I find this makes my coloured highlights pop a little more.
Appreciate the input!
@Daniel Snoek How's the B&W model working out for you? I'm looking to get the Go model for carrying around and have heard it has a brighter screen without the color layer. Are you able to see your highlights at all or do you have to use a specific palette for it to show on your screen?
@Morgan, I’ve really enjoyed it. I haven’t used the Color model though, so I can’t speak to the difference in screen brightness or clarity between models. Logos highlights may be a weaker point, when text is selected there isn’t that much variation across the highlight palette, so I don’t know if I’m choosing a blue, or green, or whatever. This isn’t an issue for me as I don’t use highlights much.
A key feature of this device is running full Android 13. I’ll run Olive Tree Bible (better verse picker and can actually see it/faster), read a Logos book, ACNA Daily Office app is excellent, and one has their pick between its built in book reader (highly customizable), Kindle, Play Books, etc.
