How can I get the search arrow to only focus on verse refs?

I recently learned how I can click that little arrow in a search result to set the Active Reference to the next verse (since scrolling unfortunately no longer works near the end of a list).

However, I am finding I need to click the arrow way to many times since instead of it going to the next verse, it jumps in the same verse to all the random pronouns. Is there a way to get the arrow to just jump to the next verse and not just jump around within the same verse?

I think it might help if I show a screenshot. I searched for the king Zedekiah, and while I was near the end, at Eze 17:18, I wanted to get to Eze 17:21. So I clicked the little down carrot, which should take just a few clicks, but it took forever. If you run this search you will see that it is clicking through all the random words describing the king before going to the next verse. Is there a way to get the arrow to just go from one verse to the next in one click?

I assume you have set the unit of navigation to search results so that a click moves you forward by 1 search results. To move forward by one verse, you must set the unit of navigation to verse. It sounds as if you want to combined the two "move forward to next verse with a search result". Off the top of my head, I can't think of a way to do that.

The situation is that I had a list from a search result (like in my screenshot, which is just an example). I then have a note where I am adding verses as anchors. However, since I am literally doing this for hours every day, I am worried of mistyping verses. I am thus just scrolling down and clicking to add the active reference as the anchor.

However, near the end of the list Logos just stops scrolling before it gets to the end. (Tbh, I think it should keep scrolling until it gets to the last verse as the active reference, but it doesn't).

I had thus been just typing the last verses by hand, but then I was running into the issue of being worried of mistyping something. I was then told that I could resolve the problem by clicking that carrot which would set the next verse as the active reference.

If I am understanding correctly, however, what I had been told isn't technically correct, as the ONLY thing it can do is go to the next hit (within the same verse) and the only way for the carrot to jump to the next verse (the original goal stated above), is if there is no search result, which would totally defeat the point of the carrot. Is this correct? So my best option is to just go back to typing it by hand?

I think @MJ. Smith 's assesment of how navigating within search results is correct.

For what you are trying to do @Kristin - you could send the results of the search to a Passage List, set the Passage List to Compact View and then right-click and Copy each reference.

Would that work at all?

Thanks for clarifying this. I just tried the Passage List option, and I actually think it might be better to just type the last references in the list by hand, since the Passage list takes several steps and I feel like I could have typed the references by the time it is set up.

That all said, I feel like what I am experiencing seems to be verging on a bug, as obviously if someone creates a list, you would want to be able to scroll to the end of the list, obviously. While you can see the end visually, the system does not recognize the end of the list since the end is never recognized as the active reference.

Do you think I should report this as a bug? Or is there something you would suggest?
