On the Dashboard option for adding cards, course type is no longer an option.
This is an easy fix. Create a Layout with your course, then save it.
Add it to the Dashboard as a Layout.
@Doc B, How do I set up a layout that combines the multiple components of the course (4 resources), in the way that the course tool does. I have not found a layout that matches what the course tool created.
I simply put the 'book' on the left side of the screen and the video panel on the right side and go from there. If it has auxiliary readings, I will either open them in a tab on top of the 'book' or more often in a floating panel.
Sometimes I'll keep the Information panel open on the far right for definitions, etc.

@Doc B, In your setup, where do you have the tracking system that (1) shows the course outline indicating completed and non completed sections as well as percentage completed, or (2) using that outline to quickly manage jumps from one component to another without the need for scrolling?

I do the courses sequentially, so the TOC in the 'book' is all I need.
My index finger is in pretty good shape, so scrolling when necessary isn't a major exercise. (First world problem, LOL.)
