CHARISMATIC CHAOS - JOHN MacARTHUR

Although there are a number of books and collections of JOHN MacARTHUR's solid biblical teaching on LOGOS and VYRSO, there seems to be one missing, and that is CHARISMATIC CHAOS. Although we do have STRANGE FIRE, I think CHARISMATIC CHAOS would be a great asset to us as serious students and teachers of the Word of God. So I am asking LOGOS to please, if it is any way possible to get this book either on LOGOS or VYRSO for us. I will be extremely grateful for this, and so will many others. Thank you.

I went ahead and got the penny version. 'Mushy thinking'. I like that. I'm not charismatic. I always thought Joel was a bit too mushy.

I looked for this a while back, but couldn't find any ebook versions of it. I created a personal book (PB) of 12 or so sermons that GTY groups under the series "Charismatic Chaos". This might be a rough approximation, since many of JFM's books are sermon content edited down (and spell-checked ) for reading.

I won't attach the file here, since it is part of the JFM sermon archive that Logos sells, but if you send me an email to the address found on my Faithlife profile, I'll be glad to send it to you, if you think it will be useful.

We're still waiting to get the response to his previous book (Authentic Fire by Michael Brown) and I'd like to see that in Logos before we get more on the subject from MacArthur.

In fairness, Charismatic Chaos is 23 years old, so it would not be like MacArthur getting a double hit before his enemies are heard.

I know this thread is 10 years old, but why is the Charismatic Chaos n only offered in Chinese and not English?

It is a great resource to have and not certain why Logos does not have it.

I am assuming that many were offended by this book.

What I do not understand is that Logos has it in Chinese.

Not certain we will ever get an answer.

Could you purchase it in Chinese and then use the AI translator within Logos to translate it to English?

I've never really used the translate function before, so I don't know…

This book was published in 1992.

Over 20 years later, in 2013 MacArthur published another book with a similar thesis, and Logos does have it.
