How to import to a passage list

Hello,

I have a list of passages for a 34-day bible study.

Example:

Day 1: Genesis 2:3; Exodus 3:5; Isaiah 6:3 (Mem)

I want to create a passage list and have Logos use it to generate a reading plan and a memorization plan.

I have the list in text format as above, and in .xml format, which I was told is compatible with Logos.

As far as I'm aware, you cannot import the list into a passage list, but if you are able to copy the verses, then you can add them to the passage list using the add from clipboard option. And don't worry about whatever extraneous information that is copied along with the verses, Logos will only recognize and populate the Bible references (as long as they're formatted properly).

As to turning a passage list to a reading plan, I don't know about that part.

You can add verses to a Passage List from the clipboard - as shown below

So if you simply copy the verses from your current document, you should be able to populate the passage list via that route.

I tried to do this by copying the text and .xml formats into the passage box. The screen just sat there with the text visible and no import.

Try copying the text (plain text not XML) and then use the Add from .. clipboard option

This is the end of the last line:

Day 34: Celebration - No Reading; Recite All 12 Verses; 1 Samuel 2:2 (Mem)

It just sits and stares at me. 🤷‍♀️

This looks like you are pasting the text directly into the Add passage box (outlined in green below) as opposed to using the Add from clipboard option (outlined in orange below)

If not, please post a screenshot showing what you do and what results you get.
