Question for Jing users

What's the best way to convert the swf file to an MPG, or WMV, or AVI file?
Thanks!

I looked for a way but I could not find one. I ended up buying the pro version.

Just hang around long enough and another one of those spammers will drop by the forum and post a helpful message about how to convert file formats using their product. [;)] [For those of you who never saw it, there was a run of several of these a few months ago.]
Do a Google search for "convert swf to" and skip over any of the websites in the search results that have swf in their domain name; most of them look like junk. But if you find some that have real company names as their domain name, check them out. Many of them offer free trial versions. Do some other Googling around once you find a couple of names and see what reviewers say of them (but beware of false "reviews" planted by the sellers). This is a market rife with fradulent stuff, but you can probably find something useful if you look and filter out glaring bogosity. The reason there is so much underhanded stuff going on in media format conversion software is that most of it is designed to bypass rightful copyright mechanisms. In this case, if you're using Jing to make your own recording of you doing something on your screen, you ought to own the copyright to that. But read the small print in the EULA of the free version of Jing. Keep in mind that it's usually considered illegal or at least unethical to reverse-engineer a compiled file format, which is what swf is.

Thanks all for the replies. I ended up using SWF Converter, it's shareware but the free version works it just adds a logo to the converted video which was ok for my needs.
Does Jing Pro convert to other file formats?

Damian you're right. AVC will convert video files to SWF but no the other way. My humble apologies as my head hangs in shame[:$]

Fred, no worries. I was going to recommend the same, as I use it all the time. But, when I ran the program, I noticed that it had no SWF import option.
