Hiding books but still showing

Can anyone help please, I've been trying to remove non English books from my Logos 10 to try and make it look a bit neater and easier to navigate the books I am interested in. I've tried removing from this device, hiding them but they just won't go. I've restarted the program several times and done a forced rebuild index and resources but no joy. Is there something very obvious I am missing? Thanks for any help.

Welcome Stu! Sorry you are having troubles.

Some answers might help diagnose the problem.

What specific app are you using?
Which specific platform are you using?
Which book(s) are you trying to hide?
Do you have a screenshot?

For clarification: "Logos 10" is an old version of Logos. The current release version of the engine is 47.0.332.

Sorry yes, I'm using Logos 47 on my PC, Windows 11
The books I am trying to hide are all non English so quite a lot of them.
I've attached a screenshot, as an example I have hidden all the books starting with Ab urbe, indeed the right click option to hide them has now gone, but they remain in my library.

Are you referring to the Remove from this device option? If so, did you use that command to try and hide them?

This option does remove books from your hard drive - and make them accessible in the Logos cloud - but it doesn't remove them from your library.

If you actually want to remove them from your library, try hiding them as outlined here

I didn't see the choice to bring up the hide-multiple-books menu (Opt-Right-Click on selected books; don't know Windows key).

I tried both options as I have no need for them. It's not too drastic, I've been playing around with the tags and collections options, so I'll probably pursue and configure that to just show the books and resources I am interested in.
