CMD+SHIF+J Doesn't Opne Copy Bible Verse on Mac

I'm trying to bring up the floating CBV window in Pages on Mac.

This page says the KB Shortcult CMD+SHIFT+J should do it in any program running Logos, but it's not working.

I have both Pages open and Logos open. Pages is active and I hit the KB shortcut and nothing.

Is this a bug?
Am I doing it wrong?

I'm running Logos Bible Study 35.0
35.0.509

Also have Sonoma 14.5 installed.

I am not on the beta, but the Hotkey service was not enabled on my system by default either.

To enable the service:

Open the Pages menu and select "Services". Then select "Services Settings".

That will open the MacOS System Settings where you can enable the hotkey:

Even after enabling the Services setting, it still doesn't work as describe in the Shortcuts page. it says "This service causes the Copy Bible Verses tool to open in a floating window from any macOS application (if Logos is running)." Instead it just opens Logos if you have CBV open already. A little misleading. I think they should change the help page to describe it more accurately.

Exactly what problem are you experiencing?

Shift-Cmd-J brings up the Copy Bible Verses tool for me.

Works fine for me too.

In the program you wish to copy to, for example Word or Pages, Look under the Program Name on the menu, find the Services menu item, click it, you should see open copy bible verses, and lightly to the left it should show ⌘⇧J , the symbols for Shift Command J, Do they appear?

If yes,

On your Mac, check System Settings -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts

Check these sections carefully:
App Shortcuts
Mission Control
Services
Spotlight
Accessibility

Look specifically for ⌘⇧J assigned to anything.

I assume you are using a US Keyboard as input in settings/ That could be an issue if not. Let us know and we can help with that.

Do you run any third-party utilities? Some examples I can think of - Keyboard Maestro, BetterTouchTool, any window managers, any vendor keyboard software like from Logitech. If you do, temporarily disable it and try Logos again.
