I Remain Impressed (after maybe 10 years or so)

There's lots of hoopla on AI and justifiably … Logos has not been a well-behaved puppy, relative to ease of use. And the accessibility to more people is a BIG plus.

But maybe 10 years ago (Logos 6-ish?), they came out with the 'MultiView' feature (renamed to MultiBook and then ??). It was supposed to be Logos' answer to no link-follow/lead. Folks are still miffed. But I like the shear power of use.

Yes, I like lots of stuff, on my UI. I read an article, that Japanese web style design is similar (vs white-space-worship in the West). Below I stack 2 MultBooks; one for my favorite commentaries (top) and another MultiBook, for often-really-good commentaries. Then I type in my verse ref and then …. MAGIC!! First it switches all the commentaries to match the verse. No matter Old or New Testament. And no commentaries shown if they don't address the verse. And if several editions of a commentary, each one is included (compare updates!).

OK, maybe I'm too simple. I just love it. Each commentary seems to address some little issue that the other one says 'meh'. Each one a rabbit hole in waiting!

Is the 1989 NRSV … the layout name? And why list BBC commentaries?

Where does the 2009 NRSV come from (i only know the 1989 and 2021 editions)

@Dave Hooton … no, regular MBP laptop. Admittedly small .. explaining why I never noticed the '2009 NRSV' … should be 1989 (fixed it … thank you). I also have the 1993 (citation) edition …Catholic.

Regarding the top window-line … a lovable fluke from MultiBook. It lists the library volumes for the first commentary set, last saved in the layout. Can't imagine why.

In this case, I just got the Blackwells, made them the lead commentary (not available in Luke), and saved the layout. That list idiosyncrasy goes back years.

Sounds interesting. How do you accomplish that, @DMB ? Could you be so kind and explain it?
