A few days ago I had no issues but this morning I tried to add two different books to my print library both on my of my iPhone and my iPad. When I do, the loading library data window shows, but the bar is empty and then fills and the number count goes up but it never actually completes the addition. If I leave the screen and come back, the bar shows empty again the only way I was able to get the process to stop was to remove the newly added books from my library. I did try rebuilding the index, but nothing seemed to work and it failed on both devices.
