when copying scripture from red letter edition Bible initially red letter verses copy fine but as more notes are added often time (not always) red letter will disappear and just become standard color for the note

Please confirm the following.

Which Bible version or versions are you experiencing this with?
It sounds like you are copying to Notes? Is this a single note, or multiple notes?
Typically how many attempts are required to trigger this? I understand you can't give an exact number, but would we be looking at ten, twenty, or thirty attempts to copy and paste before this behavior usually happens?
It would be helpful if you could provide screnshots or a video, but I understand that might be difficult.

I mostly use NASB95 but saw the same issue with KJV
Correct. All same note where after a random amount of addition to the note the red letter just converts to standard text
usually just a few additions to the same note (2 or 3)
Let me see what I can do here. Since I really only notice it on my IPad
