48.0 Beta 2 (48.0.213) is now available for desktop!

v48 Beta 2 fixes a Windows installation issue and includes all the improvements in Beta 1. See the v48 Beta 1 release notes for more information on what's new.

If you are updating from Beta 1, you will need to repair your installation. See instructions here.

To change Logos to the beta channel, enter the command Set update channel to beta in the Command Box. (Please see beta warnings and risks.)

To immediately update Logos (if it is already set to beta channel), enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it's scheduled to check for updates.

The only problem I have experienced with 48 on a Mac is the crash from Study Assistant previous searches more than several days old. This morning I did the Windows fix-it trick or restarting my computer. Like magic the crash has gone away! Sometimes maybe we must think like a Winders user. 😉

I don't know your situation, but a general rule we strongly recommend is only installing beta if it's on a secondary machine, while keeping your primary machine (work or personal) on stable. You can view our beta warnings and risk here.
