Tips using the Septuagint

I have the premium subscription, English only speaker and own two Septuagint bibles. Lexham Interlinear Swete edition and Rahlfs with Logos Morphology. I mostly use Logos for bible study, using the tools as I read thru the text. I like to click on words or verses and do deep dives in word studies or commentary.

How can I use my Septuagint in this manner. Is there way from the Bible tab to include the Septuagint translation in my word study? How do others use it? Any good youtube training videos?

If you right-click a word in your NT interlinear (or reverse interlinear), select lemma on the left column, then select Bible Word Study in the right column, you'll see LXX usage in the section under the translation ring.

Since the LXX was largely the NT 'Bible', it's helpful, in the NT, especially Paul, to see how his vocabulary was used in the LXX.

Yes, thank you. I see this in the NT. It shows me the results from my Logos LXX. Is there a reason it defaults to this one Septuagint, does it matter can i change it?

Also, when I do the same operation in the OT, with the Hebrew lemma, i don't have the Septuagint Translation option. But if I select the manuscript word, it gives me the Greek translation option (doesn't say where that comes from), maybe that's from the LXX?

Thanks in advance for your answers. Also I have the premium plan (lowest plan), and i think some features might be disabled.

Your two questions:

On the 'Septuagint Translation' section of Bible Word Study you found, move your mouse toward the top of the section; a grey top-panel will appear! Click on the Settings to the right, and choose which other LXX you prefer.
For the Hebrew, instead of looking for 'Septuagint Translation', instead, just look for 'Translation'. Again, hover your mouse - top section panel > Settings. Then find your preferred LXX from the choices.

Using the 'Scriptures' (LXX) is a great way to get a feel for New Testament background.
