Hi Logos Community,
I’m running into what looks like a Text Comparison bug that only happens in Interlinear mode when the NET Bible (Second Edition) is the base/first resource.
Environment
•Resource: NET Bible (Second Edition) (owned) with Reverse Interlinear
Steps to reproduce
1.Open Tools → Text Comparison
2.Enter a reference such as John 3:16
3.Set NET Bible (Second Edition) as the first/base resource
4.Switch the Text Comparison display to Interlinear (not Verses)
Actual result
•Logos Desktop (47.2.2 on macOS) shows:
“There are no results for this reference in the selected books”
•Logos Web shows:
“The NET Bible (Second Edition) does not contain ‘John 3:16.’ Please set a resource with this passage as the first resource.”
Expected result
Text Comparison should display the passage in Interlinear mode, since NET Bible (Second Edition)contains John 3:16 and I own the Reverse Interlinear for it.
Workaround
If I switch Text Comparison to Verses mode instead of Interlinear mode, it works normally for the same reference and base text.
Notes
This seems specific to Interlinear-mode reference/resource resolution (possibly how the RI data is being queried), since Verses mode resolves the passage correctly.
Thanks!
