Logos Library Reporter - Revival Edition v2.0 - Endlich fertig! Here it comes…

Vor vier Wochen habe ich die erste Version vorgestellt. Jetzt habe ich das Programm erweitert und benutzerfreundlicher gemacht.

Die rechte Seitenleiste bietet interessante Funktionen: Klicken Sie auf Autoren, Journale oder Kommentare - es gibt vieles zu entdecken!

Das Programm ist nicht perfekt. Ich musste beim Filtern von Büchern einige Kompromisse eingehen - das war nicht anders zu machen.

Trotzdem: Wer den LLR mochte, kann sich vielleicht auch mit dieser Fortsetzung anfreunden.

Ps.: In den kommenden Wochen bin ich ab 27. Januar 26 in einer Rehabilitation nach längerem Krankenhausaufenthalt.
In dieser Zeit kann ich auf Rückfragen nur beschränkt eingehen. Doch ich habe drei Varianten zur Installation
des Programmes eingefügt: Automatisch - Manuell oder Hybrid. Ich hoffe, das hilft über Probleme bei der Installation weg.
Doch ich werde ins Forum reinschauen und evtl. reagieren. Über Rückmeldungen freue ich mich, und wer Verbesserungen
am Code vornehmen kann, ist herzlich dazu eingeladen. :-)

Logos Library Reporter - Revival Edition v2.0 - Finally finished! Here it comes…

Four weeks ago I presented the first version. Now I've expanded the program and made it more user-friendly.

The right sidebar offers interesting features: Click on authors, journals, or commentaries - there's much to discover!

The program isn't perfect. I had to make some compromises when filtering books - there was no other way.

Still: If you liked the LLR, you might enjoy this continuation too.

P.S.: In the coming weeks, starting January 27, I will be undergoing rehabilitation after a lengthy hospital stay.
During this time, I will only be able to respond to queries to a limited extent. However, I have included three options for installing
the program: automatic, manual, or hybrid. I hope this helps to resolve any installation issues.
But I will check the forum and respond if necessary. I welcome feedback, and anyone who can make improvements

Logos Library Reporter - Revival Edition v2.0 - Enfin prêt ! - Le voilà qui arrive...

Il y a quatre semaines, j'ai présenté la première version. Maintenant j'ai étendu le programme et l'ai rendu plus convivial.

La barre latérale droite offre des fonctionnalités intéressantes : Cliquez sur auteurs, revues ou commentaires - il y a beaucoup à découvrir !

Le programme n'est pas parfait. J'ai dû faire des compromis lors du filtrage des livres - il n'y avait pas d'autre solution.

Néanmoins : Si vous avez aimé le LLR, vous apprécierez peut-être aussi cette suite.

P.S. : À partir du 27 janvier 26, je serai en rééducation après un long séjour à l'hôpital.
Pendant cette période, je ne pourrai répondre aux questions que de manière limitée. Mais j'ai ajouté trois options pour l'installation
du programme : automatique, manuelle ou hybride. J'espère que cela aidera à résoudre les problèmes d'installation.

Hace cuatro semanas presenté la primera versión. Ahora he ampliado el programa y lo he hecho más fácil de usar.

La barra lateral derecha ofrece funciones interesantes: Haga clic en autores, revistas o comentarios - ¡hay mucho por descubrir!

El programa no es perfecto. Tuve que hacer algunos compromisos al filtrar libros - no había otra manera.

Aún así: Si le gustó el LLR, quizás también disfrute esta continuación.

P.D.: En las próximas semanas, a partir del 27 de enero, estaré en rehabilitación tras una larga estancia en el hospital.
Durante este tiempo, solo podré responder a las consultas de forma limitada. Sin embargo, he añadido tres opciones para la instalación
del programa: automática, manual o híbrida. Espero que esto ayude a resolver los problemas de instalación.
No obstante, echaré un vistazo al foro y posiblemente responderé. Agradezco cualquier comentario y quien pueda realizar mejoras

Das freut mich sehr! 😊 Schreib mir mal über deine Erfahrungen. Ganz perfekt ist es noch nicht, das Filtern ist ein Kompromiss zwischen Genauigkeit und zu ungenauer Buchfindung. Das konnte ich nicht besser lösen. Doch es läuft auch auf anderen Systemen! Preis den HERRN, das war eines meiner vorrangigen Ziele.

Vielen Dank erstmal für die viele Arbeit!!

Ich verwende Verbum.
Hab den Ordner files.zip extrahiert. Aber data.js und index.js erscheinen nicht. Aber app.js und styles.css
Hab einmal mit 7-zip und einmal mit Windows extrahiert. Beides mal das gleiche Ergebnis.

Ich habe den LLR installiert laut Anleitung. Wurde aber wärend der Installation nicht nach library.xml gefragt. Habe diese auch in diesem "kryptischen Ordner" nicht gefunden.

Bei Verbum finde ich "Bibliothek exportieren" auch nicht unter Werkzeuge. Ich hab dann Ki gefragt. Hab dann meine Bibliothek in Verbum geöffnet und unter Drucken/Exportieren dann eine Bibibliothek.xml in den Installationsordner reinkopiert.

Auch setup-windows.bat finde ich nicht.

Aber es wurden ca. 12.000 covers wärend der Installation extrahiert.

Wenn ich LLR-Revived…html öffne öffnet der Logos Library Reporter, aber folgende Fehlermeldung erscheint:

"ERROR: data.js wurde nicht geladen!"

Eine Frage noch. Wenn ich eine Kategorie Anklich, wie zB "Kommentare", kommt zuerst ein Ordner mit dem Titel "Alle" und einem Cover darin. Wenn ich dann "Alle" anklicke, kommen viele Ordner mit einem Buch mit Kreuz und Titeln wie 1-9, 1-9(2), A, A(2), A(3), etc. Gehört das so?
Oder gibt es eine Möglichkeit, dass gleich alle Covers auf einmal erscheinen ohne dass es sortiert in verschiedene Ordner ist?

First of all, sorry for the complications with the installation. I hope that LLR friends will be able to deal with this, but there will probably always be certain difficulties in adapting to different systems and configurations.

I recommend that users who are having a lot of trouble set up a trial subscription at claude.com. This gives them plenty of time to have their problems analyzed and instruct Claude in the prompt to analyze their PC and paths and present a solution. The free trial account can do this.

Now to your question: Yes, you're right. At first, I wanted to add a feature that could display all books as categorized by Steve Clark. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite manage to add the same navigation option for book types. It broke some of my code or wanted to completely rebuild the program to match Clark's view. Then a lot of functions would have been lost. That's why I decided on this option. Maybe I'll try again for an update, or another user will do it.

One thing is clear: my program is not fully optimized. The book filter still fails in two or three minor issues, such as empty text boxes or incorrect book displays. But I didn't want to keep the Logos community waiting any longer, especially since the project has also taken up a lot of my time and money. But I enjoyed doing it!

One more thing: if the author appears in the sidebar and you click on them, you will be shown all the books in your library that you own by that author. The entire database is then searched. There seems to be a bug with journals, because in my installed version, which is structured differently, it works exactly the same way. However, I have created an automated program version that does not run perfectly and omits some journals and limits those it displays to the 25-Book- folders. So there is still a lot to do in the future. I will see if I can do it myself. In the search function, you can also retrieve books by an author, and there is much more. But as I said: a foundation has been laid, but nothing more. However, if the community is interested and helps, some things can still be improved.
