If I switch apps on my iPad to take notes with an Apple Pencil (e.g. switching to OneNote or Notability), when I return back to Logos and highlight text, the menu doesn’t pop up anymore. To fix this, I have to switch to a different tab in Logos and then return. Then the menu comes back as usual.
This happens every time I write anything. Is this a known bug? Is there a fix?
I am using:
iPad Air 11 inch (M3)
Apple Pencil Pro
iPadOS 26.2
On further investigation, I found that this most commonly is reproduced by using the "swipe to switch apps". If I switch with the drag and press it doesn't happen. If I have two windowed apps, it doesn't happen.
In fact, I've been able to reproduce the behavior without using the pencil at all. It seems to be primarily related to when I switch apps using the swipe gesture.
