How do I find key words of a specific book of the Bible, such as Genesis? I saw a video of someone doing this, but she didn't explain very well. I want to start marking key words in my Bible.
You can find key words in the Passage Guide for example.
Important Words in the Passage Guide.
@Connie Williams Key words are an important part of the Observation Step in Bible study. Unfortunately I don't find Logos to be helpful in isolating them. It takes more than word counts to determine what they key words are. A key word (one that is essential to the overall meaning of the passage) might be a word that appears only once. You need to develop observational skill in determining the words that are a 'key' to the author's intent and to the content of the passage. Then as you read you can determine a way to highlight them so they will always be there in the future.
In Genesis 1 I'd select God, created, day, God said, it was so, God called, good, after their kind, image, likeness, very good as key words and phrases. (Here I've selected many more words than I would in many other passages due to how compressed and highly organized the composition of this passage is.)
If you find that video, let us know.
@Connie Williams
I should mention that there is a Logos book you might have or, if not, want to look at buying: Kay Arthur, Basic Steps of Bible Study, Getting Started. It discusses key words. (It does not teach you how to find them in Logos, however.)
To more easily see repeated words in a passage you can use the Corresponding Words feature, which you may have to enable. (It's found on the resource tool bar under Formatting/Emphasize). Be sure to click on the little drop down arrow next to Corresponding Words to choose what sort of correspondence or correspondences you want. (Probably for the key word search you'd want to select just "Same Surface Text".) If you are into original languages Same Lemma or Same Root will show interesting correspondences. Now when you hover over a word, the same word will be highlighted in the other places it appears.

If I search for figurative language occurrences in a Concordance Section I get a search for Your Bibles as opposed to my Top Bible This seems unnecessary Is there a particular reason for this?

Para a IA pesquisar em livro em inglês preciso perguntar em inglês. Seria melhor se ao perguntar em qualquer idioma, a IA pesquisasse em toda biblioteca, independente do idioma.

On Verbum, neither the line nor the locked resources are…
