On a Logos Facebook group I posted a photo of my desk using Logos and I had quite a few messages asking about a macropad that I have setup on my desk.
It's a Logitech Creative Console, which is designed for people to use mainly with creative tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, etc to speed up editing - you program in shortcuts and actions that you use a lot in these programs so that you can take those actions with just a hit of a button.
But it can also be programmed with other kinds of shortcuts in any program that you're using - including Logos and even as an app launcher.
I'm relatively new to Logos, but I love that you can use keyboard shortcuts to do all manner of things in Logos - the problem is that I can't remember them all - and so a little macropad like this is gold.
At present, I have it programmed with 9 of the shortcuts that I use most, but the more I use Logos the more I discover its shortcuts and could see adding a second (or more) page of shortcuts (the two grey arrow buttons let you scroll to another page).
Next to it is the other component, which comes with the macropad - a Dialpad which you can also program to do different things in different programs.
I’ve previously also used Streamdecks which are similar to this Logitech product and think it would also be great with Logos
A Question: for those of you who use Logos Keyboard shortcuts - what are your favourite and most used shortcuts?
Bonus Question: is anyone else using a macropad like this? How are you using it?
