No highlighting works when a locked notebook is open

Have you experienced this gotcha? If you open a locked notebook and then try to create a highlight for some selected text in a resource it does nothing! I finally noticed the open locked notebook in another window pane and realized Logos was failing because the current notebook is locked. Closed that notebook and highlighting works again. It would help if Logos flagged this in a notice/warning message.

Interesting…I've used Logos since L3 and this is the first time I've heard of a 'locked notebook.'

If you download and open another author's public shared notes the will usually or maybe always be locked. The scenario I'm familiar with is instructor notes from some of the courses. It is possible to then copy the notebook as your own, which unlocks it.

That explains much…I don't know if I've ever downloaded another's notebook. I've pulled a few visual filters and a couple highlighting pallets, but never a notebook.

I'll give it a try and see what it looks like.
