Hey everyone! I would like to know whether you use the canvas tool in Logos and, if so, how you use it. I currently use it to help me break down scripture passages for easier understanding. The Canvas Tool has become part of my sermon preparation.
I don't.
While I haven't messed with it in several years, I initially tried to use it for live text mark-up during classes. It was much too cumbersome and difficult (i.e., non-intuitive) to use for that purpose.
I then tried to use it for prepared text mark-up and still found it non-competitive with some iOS apps for that purpose. I also have a subscription to BibleArc for this purpose. I use BA more for phrase diagramming, but also for some mark-up. If Logos could integrate something like what BA has for easy phrase diagramming, it would be a killer in that market, IMO.
I'd love to have a tool within Logos that can do quick, easy, and intuitive text mark-up, but I've not found Canvas to be that tool. If someone tells me it has improved into such a critter, I'll give it another try.
