Logos-Library-Reporter-V3.0 revived - Steve Clark´s spark continues to fly

Dear Logos- and Verbum-Community,

Since early December 2025, I have been working on a successor to Steve Clark's Logos Library Reporter. Today I can offer the currently final and greatly improved version LLR-revived3.0 — a library explorer for Logos and Verbum — for download.

It's free, open-source, and runs directly in your browser — no installation on your PC required. Previous early versions are no longer available as of today, replaced by thisoptimised version 3.0.

So far, only five meaningful responses have been posted in the Logos forum. I would gladly take your experiences and wishes for future updates into account — but whether that isworthwhile depends on whether there is a community that finds real benefit in using this library explorer.

I remember Steve and his many contributions to the Forums and Logos users. Besides using his contributions to the Logos wiki, I did use his Library reporter. It is generous of you to make this available again. I don't have the need for it I once felt, as the Library in Logos has improved in functionality greatly, but I will try it.

An earlier version worked for me with Verbum, the next update not. The actual program seems good. But there is a mix between the version numbers:

Hermann, I downloaded and extracted the EN file and when I double click on the .py file it doesn't open or do anything. It asks me what app to use to open it. Do you have a suggestion?

Thank you for trying LLR-revived 3.0!

The .py file is a Python script, and Python needs to be installed on your computer first. Here is what to do:

Step 1 — Install Python:Go to https://www.python.org/downloads/ and download the latest version. During installation, make sure to check the box "Add Python to PATH" — this is important!

Step 2 — Run the installer:After Python is installed, simply double-click the .py file again. It should now open and run automatically.

If it still doesn't work:Open the Command Prompt (press Win+R, type cmd, press Enter), then type:

cd C:\path\to\your\LLR-V3.0-EN folderpython 02-INSTALL-DoubleClick-EN.py

Any error message in the window will tell you exactly what is missing.

Dear NichtnurBibelleser,

Good question! The file is named LLR-Revived-2_0-DE.html for historical reasons — it kept the original filename from the earlier version. But don't let that confuse you: the content is fully version 3.0. Once the installer has run, just open that HTML file in your browser as usual and you have the current version.

I will rename the file properly in the next release.
