Well, you would need to use the Wine app then run proclaim through that as a windows emulator. There are other options other than wine, search wine alternative
thanks, will try that. am dumping windows so need to run logos on linux, but was hoping for a native version that could not find
I understand the reasons why, but other than community support, which is good, you will have no other support. Not saying don't try it…. Just know what you are getting into.
Have you considered purchasing a used or refurbished Mac. You can get a MacBook for a good price especially refurbished, and it would be much better than any Linux versions you will find.
No, have never used a Mac so it would be completely unknown. Also, do not like the closed system of Apple.
The links above are some posts from the community where they have managed to get Logos running decently under WINE, but it's true there is no official support for it.
Another option is the Logos Web App, although there are limitations there, and it always requires Internet access.
One option is you could use Linux as your daily OS then run Windows as a dual boot or in a virtual machine using VMware or VirtualBox. That way when you absolutely need to run a Windows app with full support, it's there, but you can spend the rest of your time in Linux.
Thank you to everyone for the help!
If you don’t like closed systems … Logos is closed is it not?

What are your thoughts on using the mini? I plan to mostly use two-recourses like a translation and commentary. Is mini good enough for…
I am wondering if you discussed or have plans to add any more narrators for the people who enjoy listening to the Word read to them as they follow along? I love hearing Max McLean's narration of the King James Version; it helps with the pronunciations of the old modern english words.
