I purchased some standalone videos on Faithlife TV a while back (not the Faithlife TV Plus subscription).
What will happen to those?
Will they be accessible inside Logos if the FL TV app goes away?
Thanks!
We don't have any changes planned for Faithlife TV as far as I'm aware. Purchased content remains available on the website for streaming.
We don't have any plans for any changes. Sorry, there isn't a view of just your owned videos.
The app is already gone on several platforms, such as Fire TV. Even if the videos are made available in the Logos app, that's not gonna help with streaming devices such as Fire TV.
What I currently do is going to faithlifetv.com on the Fire TV browser, but user experience is just painful. For now, it's sufficient as a workaround. I've tried accessing my videos on a couple of platforms. It's not really user friendly, but generally possible (as long as the website remains accessible.)
But some improvement of the current situation would definitely be appreciated.
I agree. I also purchased several videos and I wish they were available in logos.
Is there talk of faithlife.tv going away?
@Dave Dunkin (Logos) may have some thoughts on this… Are their plans to allow us to download our FLTV content in the future?
While I miss the FL TV apps, I have watched the content I own on my TV already to the point where if I had to give up easily watching them on my TV, I could (maybe use AirPlay, even though it's clunky).
What I wouldn't want to give up is accessing my content at all since I bought and paid for those particular videos.
If they were at least in Logos where I could watch them "somewhere" if I needed to, that would protect my investment in them.
I haven't heard of FL TV actually going away, but with the demise of some of the streaming TV apps, I want to proactively remind the Logos team that we need at least some way to access the videos we purchased in the event they pivot away from FL TV in the future.
I hope they keep it - I really like having access to course video content via a "youtube-like" streaming interface - just makes it easy.
@Dave Dunkin (Logos) Is there any chance logos will make an owned section in FLTV? If not, what is the easiest way to find the videos you do own?
I’ve never had trouble searching either the letter/number combo or the title and then adding to the watchlist.
These dropdown lists are impossible to navigate on TV with a remote control. Could this be fixed with a future update of the FLTV website?
Wouldn’t it be easier to get the video up on a mobile device and then use AirPlay or chromecast to project the video to the TV?
I'm just trying that. I'm not getting any sound, neither on the phone, nor on the telly.
that makes no sense. Did you try power cycling the TV? Unplug it completely (hitting the power button is not usually enough to reset)
I should have switched the sound output back from Fire TV to the telly. So it's working. Whether this is "easier" is debatable, since it blocks by phone while streaming the course.

Overnight I was charged for the updates to the Master Journal Library and Galaxie’s Theological Journal Library, vols. 1–28. The MJL downloaded the new resources, but nothing came down from Galaxie; it was supposed to be the list below. Did anyone get these, meaning my system needs a jolt to get the downloads going, or was…
Good morning, over the last week, on the desktop version, I've found that my dashboard has had a mind of their own, displaying whichever cards it wanted - mostly old worksflows and reading plans. The cards I chose (mostly layouts) dissapeared. I've corrected the issue once or twice (removing the numerous cards I don't want…
I was looking at the Church History: Advanced Study Bundle. My dynamic price is $1353.55 saving $71.24. As you can see from the image though, the "Value if sold separately" price is $2508.89. Yet if you add up the individual "price if sold separately prices" shown there, they add up to $1405.93 - a savings of only $52.38…
Any chance someone might simply explain what Logos is doing when it differentiates "lemmas" from "other lemmas" in the EG subsection? The latter seem to be the results of a broader search, perhaps based on a match.nomarks type of search? In the ex. below, the first "other lemma" search result refers to a type of root with…
