How can I search all Infinitive Construct forms that occur at the beginning place of each verse in the Old Testament?
Here you go:
I allow only Preposition and Conjunction otherwise you get nouns with 3 segment span. Compare results with 2 seg Span.
My initial search thought is Morph Search for Inifinitive Construct
morph.h:V?F???C
Next was searching Hebrew Cantillation (looking for way to filter first place)
cantillation:(name:Pashta AND rank:Duke AND type:Disjunctive)
Learned Morph search does not distinguish between Cantillation "A" and "B"
My next step would be a Syntax Search using Hebrew Cantillation (my initial attempt found 0 results).

Thank you Keep Smiling for these examples. This particular search definitely has me stumped!
I can easily do this in another program but I can’t find a way to find the first word in a verse in Logos
Is there a way to search for sof-pasuq and then find the following word after that? it would have to cross verse boundaries
@Brian Leathers Same as Wayyiqtol Morph Query but different Verb.
Dave,
I tried several variations of the morph query and have come up empty. Not sure where I am going wrong.
Thanks Dave, that morph query worked:
thanks Dave. I found that if you remove the segment with preps and conjunctions, and change your search span to 1 segment, you can find an additional 9 ICs without prefixed conjunctions or preps.
