Does anyone know how I might view or print a list of all my currently open books in Logos?
Thanks
Dave
If you open a Books Search panel and then click the books selector on the top left, one of the sections shown is the books you currently have open
Maybe for basic layouts. For my Search>OpenBooks, it lists every conceivable commentary volume (not even open), and every Bible shown in Text Comparison (I have 4 by language). Doesn't show all my open dictionaries … who knows what else. Runs out of room?
And to add insult to injury, filtering the list mixes them all up!
Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it.
I found the drop down list in 'search - open books' , but I am looking for a list sort of like in library view rather than a drop down menu of open books. Maybe something like a syntax search that lists all 'currently open' books, or some other vehicle that lists all open books with library info of each book.
Not really helping but I tag (library) my layout books. Also, sections of my layout.

To the best of my knowledge, this is not currently possible.
Could you explain why you are looking for this information? That might help us suggest alternative approaches - or it might be something that needs to be suggested as a new feature.
Thanks for the info.
But to be honest, I have a multitude of books open, somewhat randomly, and in various floating windows. I was gonna endeavor to create an order to them utilizing my open books, which are the ones most used. I thought there may be a simple library search or some obscure button in a drop down somewhere that might list the open books. If not, I can go about it the long way.
On another note, what I would really like would be to be able to open multiple layouts at the same time.
I have a custom favorites folder I named "Current". The books I'm currently reading I add to that folder. You can also use the Quick Links as bookmarks. Only a total of nine possibilites, but there's nine at least.
In your library, one of the available columns is 'Last Accessed' … which if sorted is along 'opened'.

I sort of rediscovered the Information tool and am just sort of messing with it. Most of it is clear, but I have a question about the "Translation" part that can be in the Information tool. Specifically, is there a way to set the translation versions listed? Thank you for any help anyone is able to provide. Kristin
I am trying to highlight all instances of a specific word, which is turning into more of a production than it should be. The first reason is because when I try to select the word, it normally auto-selects the entire verse or sometimes even a few verses, and then I have to click a way and try to get rid of the selection…
@Rick Mansfield (Logos) Do you know if Logos has any plans to produce this resource or not? The first 3 volumes are great but they refer and point to material in the 4th volume… it is like having a commentary point to excurses you cannot access. It is frustrating and has been in PrePub since 2023… why it is even a PrePub…
I ocassionally find in my ESV that, years ago, I highlighted large body of text. I have no idea why. For example, I have no idea why I highlighted in blue, 10-15 verses in 2 Kings. But there it is. How do I find out what note that blue highlight is connected to? It is so annoying. I want to delete the highlighting. How do…
