The Gospel of Judas: A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary (Anchor Yale Bible Commentary | AYBC) is typed as a Bible Commentary but it is not indexed by Bible. Also the citation field is ", n.d." which is incomplete.
@Chris Heil This is an unusual case.
The Gospel of Judas is considered to be New Testament Apocrypha rather than part of the Bible itself. That is why this book cannot be organized by Bible milestones.
However, this is an ancient work that is of interest to students of the Bible. So Bible Commentary seems to be an appropriate classification.
I could be wrong, but I don't think there is anything to be gained from classifying this as a "New Testament Apocrypha Commentary" instead of a "Bible Commentary". Doing this would give this volume a different classification than the other volumes in this same series.
I don't experience the same problems that you do with the citation field. I get this:
Brakke, David. The Gospel of Judas: A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary. New Haven; London: Yale University Press, 2022.
If you are still having issues with the citation, could you please give the steps you took leading up to this problem?
@Joe McCune (Faithlife), the Logos team must have had additional discussion on this after your reply because this resource was updated this evening to be a Commentary instead of a Bible Commentary. I agree with this typing and it is consistent with how other non bible-indexed commentaries from other series Hermeneia for instance have been handled. So Commentary gets my vote even though my vote doesn't count.
Also this evening's update resolved the citation problem I was having with this resource so must have been something garbled during my initial download.
Thanks for considering the requested change!
@Chris Heil Yes, it now seems glaringly obvious that this needed to be classified simply as a commentary.
