Why does it say after installing the new logos 50 beta and removing it, there are books or documents not compatiblewith the 49 stable version. How do I fix this?
The information here might explain what you are seeing
It includes:
Logos Betas cannot be downgraded to a stable release. You will need to uninstall, delete all Logos folders, then reinstall the stable release if you no longer wish to run a Logos Beta.Do not share resources or Data folders between the stable Logos and the Logos Beta release; the format of data files and (some) resources in Logos Beta may have changed, making them unreadable by Logos.

If not - please advise.
I ran into the same issue when uninstalling the new v50beta and trying to reinstall the stable v49. Here’s what worked for me—it should help you too
I opened the Control Panel and clicked on Programs and Features .From there, I right-clicked the Logos Bible Study icon and selected Uninstall. After that, I navigated to C:\Users<YourName>\AppData\Local\Logos anddeleted the Logos folder. Then I reinstalled Logos Bible Study; it installed correctly and is now running smoothly.
Please beware that you should address Beta issues/questions in the Desktop Beta Forum
You have to reinstall your entire library and have it indexed again just because you didn't like the beta? Good to know. I'll be never using a beta ever again. I'll be turning off that auto update right now. Not a chance. 😅
While downgrading to a stable release is not possible, it is easy to switch back to stable by setting the update channel to default and waiting for the next stable release to install.
I don't see where to do that. ?
Enter "set update channel to stable". See here:

Now is a good time for that thank you button. 🤗
Thank you to all. I worked with deleting the folders. I had to remove the beta of the high cpu usage as my MacBook Air was getting hot and was bothering me when hands are on the keyboard.
A good practice for those that aren't sure about the path of Beta installation and may desire to go back to Stable would be to back up your data folders. At least the user would save the time and bandwidth of having to do a full reinstall to get back to Stable.
This must be done prior to updating to/installing the Beta version.

I am searching monographs in a collection' Whether I use a passage guide or just do a search with Bible:"Matthew 24:3" I get results for Matthew 24 too. any way to narrow the search results to just this verse
I sort of rediscovered the Information tool and am just sort of messing with it. Most of it is clear, but I have a question about the "Translation" part that can be in the Information tool. Specifically, is there a way to set the translation versions listed? Thank you for any help anyone is able to provide. Kristin
I am trying to highlight all instances of a specific word, which is turning into more of a production than it should be. The first reason is because when I try to select the word, it normally auto-selects the entire verse or sometimes even a few verses, and then I have to click a way and try to get rid of the selection…
@Rick Mansfield (Logos) Do you know if Logos has any plans to produce this resource or not? The first 3 volumes are great but they refer and point to material in the 4th volume… it is like having a commentary point to excurses you cannot access. It is frustrating and has been in PrePub since 2023… why it is even a PrePub…
I ocassionally find in my ESV that, years ago, I highlighted large body of text. I have no idea why. For example, I have no idea why I highlighted in blue, 10-15 verses in 2 Kings. But there it is. How do I find out what note that blue highlight is connected to? It is so annoying. I want to delete the highlighting. How do…
