Trying to make sense of this UBS6 thing

Question

This ad doesn't make sense to me. It looks like the UBS6 will be offered with or without the apparatus at the bottom the page, even though that is a built-in part of the book. And to add the bottom of each page will more than double the price.

Am I reading this right, or is the 'with critical apparatus' referring to something more than what's on each page of the text?

If this is the marketing strategy, it's like selling a new car without wheels…they are extra. Shame on Logos if this is actually the case!

In the past, Logos has always produced UBS editions in two files: one that's just the text and one that's just the apparatus.

They've also sold them as text only (for someone in their first year of Greek who doesn't care about the apparatus but just wants to learn Greek) or as a bundle with the apparatus (for the serious Greek student, scholar, pastor, Bible translator, etc).

That's also how other Bible software vendors sell them.

The printed edition contains the apparatus, but the publisher also sells Reader editions without it.

I guess I don't understand the issue. It's how earlier GTs were sold. The peculiarity was/is Logos embedding the apparatus notes in the text resource (as well as a separate apparatus resource), if one also owns the apparatus.

is the UBS 6 text without apparatus, since the product title clearly says "text" and it is included on this bundle
