How do I know when to download a new version of Logos. They di not tell you what version is to be downloaded. For some reason, It will not automatically download, even though set to automatic download.
New releases are typically available every six weeks.
For some reason, It will not automatically download, even though set to automatic download.
What do you have set in the Download between item in Program Settings.
And do new books get downloaded automatically?
You will always receive Notifications in the main toolbar e.g. click the blue circle with '2'.
and there is a Notification bar (which can be switched off in Program Settings):
It does not state what is being downloaded but 47.5 is too small for a software update (>400 MB). When complete, another notification will inform you if a new software version is available and advise you to click Restart . You will be told details of the new version only after the restart. Note that I have to "click here" because I do not allow automatic downloads. Perhaps you should try that option.

Maybe I did not make myself clear. After I sign in and go to purchase a product, at the top of the page in Logos it says download logos. I already have version 49.I download logos and get the same version, I was told by MPSEMINARS that a new version was coming out in March. There is no way to tell the version you are downloading. I am on a PC desktop with Windows 11. Books all download automatically. I have had Logos since 2005 and have a PRO subscription.
at the top of the page in Logos it says download logos
That is there to make it easy for those who don't already have Logos to download it.
I already have version 49.I download logos and get the same version
Logos 49 is the most recent stable version - and was released on 10 March
We expect Logos 50 will ship towards the end of April.
Does this help clarify the situation.

I sort of rediscovered the Information tool and am just sort of messing with it. Most of it is clear, but I have a question about the "Translation" part that can be in the Information tool. Specifically, is there a way to set the translation versions listed? Thank you for any help anyone is able to provide. Kristin
I am trying to highlight all instances of a specific word, which is turning into more of a production than it should be. The first reason is because when I try to select the word, it normally auto-selects the entire verse or sometimes even a few verses, and then I have to click a way and try to get rid of the selection…
@Rick Mansfield (Logos) Do you know if Logos has any plans to produce this resource or not? The first 3 volumes are great but they refer and point to material in the 4th volume… it is like having a commentary point to excurses you cannot access. It is frustrating and has been in PrePub since 2023… why it is even a PrePub…
I ocassionally find in my ESV that, years ago, I highlighted large body of text. I have no idea why. For example, I have no idea why I highlighted in blue, 10-15 verses in 2 Kings. But there it is. How do I find out what note that blue highlight is connected to? It is so annoying. I want to delete the highlighting. How do…
