🔔 New Tool for the Logos Community: Logos Library Finder

Over the years, Logos Bible Software has added hundreds of libraries—especially with the Legacy Libraries. While that’s a huge benefit, it also makes it increasingly difficult to see which library actually fits your needs.

To help solve this, I’ve built a new tool for the community:

The goal of this site is simple:

Make Logos libraries easier to understand
Help users compare packages more clearly
Enable quicker, more informed decisions

At this stage, it’s still an early version, and I’d really value input from experienced Logos users.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

Does this app meet an existing need?
What information is missing or unclear?
What comparisons you would find most helpful?
Any features that would make this genuinely useful for you?

I should add that this is a side project I’m building in my spare time. I’m committed to improving it, but development will be gradual and shaped by your feedback along the way.

My aim is to build something that genuinely serves the Logos community well, so honest and detailed feedback is very welcome.

I went for Logos 8 Pentecostal specifying Original Language Tools and got Gold as the only choice (others were N/A):

The Prices are incorrect as the app does not know what I own. And prices for collections not owned did not reflect my 5% discount (having a subscription could easily be requested).

Then I choose L8, L9 and L6, where the Library Prices were the same $424.99

The description of Premium Resources is misleading =⇒ it could be Premium Collections and individual Resources over $100 as I found a single book in Logos 9 Premium? I agree with the concept but would suggest a user selectable price for Premium.
It was interesting that L6 had the most Premium Resources and highest Premium percentage but L8 had the best Value with fewer Premium Resources than L6.

Currently, the output seems to be the same regardless of the Types of Resources selected.

Incorrect pricing

This app is going to replace my former spreadsheet which didn't show dynamic pricing either.
Unfortunately, the app does not have access to the Logos website itself. That's why I cannot show dynamic pricing.
I will clarify that in the next update.

Description of Premium Resources

Good catch, thanks. I'll correct that in the next update.
A user selectable price level for what constitutes premium is already on my developer's list

That was intended. The app will currently only highlight resources of your interest. This is explained under Question 2.
Users may have a special interest in some types of resources, but this doesn't mean they are not interested in other types.
Even though it is explained, I agree that it is somewhat unclear at first sight (when people don't read everything). I'll think about this a little more.

True. That's because I only searched for "Logos" libraries, which excluded "Verbum" libraries.

They will be included in future updates.
