Strangeness when updating the Logos app from 8.17.

I've had v8.17.0.22 (Intel, 2021) on an iMac. (I purchased Logos simply to use one specialized resource, which I haven't needed to access in a while.) Now I have a newer iMac with an M1 chip and OS 26.3. So as instructed, I downloaded the newest version, installed, and opened it. It promptly asked permission to open Verbum. Fine. But neither the newest Logos nor Verbum show any menu under a "Go" box at the top, as described in the instructions. And when I click on "Verbum" at the upper left (to check its menu), the app quits! I have my doubts that this is a stable and workable arrangement.

Did you download Logos or Verbum? I ask because you seemed to be saying you were upgrading from an earlier version of Logos so I don't understand why you would get asked to permission to open Verbum

Those instructions were for option 2 in the article you referenced but installing a new version of the app is option 1 so are not required.

This sounds like you are clicking the Verbum icon at the top left of the app - as outlined below - and the app quits. Is that correct?

I have my doubts that this is a stable and workable arrangement.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. But, from what you are describing, you have downloaded the latest verison of the app and it quits when you try to open the command box. If so, that is an issue that we need to look at as many others are not seeing that problem.

If I have misunderstood anything of what you are describing please advise
