In some resources, there are links where it indicates that other individuals have made comments on, and how many comments were made. How do you turn this feature off?

How do you turn this feature off?
This is done by disabling the Popular highlights option. If you hover the cursor to the right of that option, you will see a small popup with three vertical icons. If you click that, you get some more options.
If this doesn't give you what you need, please advise
