Reinstalling and keeping as much as possible

Question

I've had to reinstall Windows and all my Windows apps, including Logos. My Logos is located on a D: drive that was not touched by the new Windows installation. There are two issues.

First, reinstalling Logos seems to have initiated a re-download of all my books. Is there a way to avoid doing that? I mean, I could just delete my original Logos folder and all that, but that leads to the second issue.

Second, I would really like to avoid having to re-install all my personal books and the original docx file that is their source. Can this be done?

* Provided your Logos on drive D: has not been touched:

* Uninstall the current version and delete its \Logos folder (presumably on C: drive).

* Install Logos from Setup.exe:* select Custom installation and uncheck “Automatically Download Updates”
* change the installation folder if necessary e.g. E:\, C:\Users\username
* when the installation has finished, immediately exit the Sign-in window* if necessary, kill Logos in Task Manager.

* If they exist delete the following folders from the new installation and replace them from drive D:* \Logos\Data
* \Logos\Documents
* \Logos\Users
* these are the only folders that you need to restore

* Start Logos and sign-in

—> some updates may download, but all your resources and Personal Books from  drive D: will be included without having to reindex.  The original docx files for your PB's will need to be available in a convenient location for re-compiling if necessary.
