Until recently I had to pay $13/month for the Max subscription. (I own ALL logos 10 features).
Now I have to pay the full price of $20/month.
Is this a mistake or are you removing Logos 10 ownership benefits?
They eliminated it last year. When I realized what it meant (that there was no permanent discount for L10 owners) I started a thread which caused a lot of controversy. I was surprised at how I was attacked by other Logos users. My concerns were not taken seriously by Logos and the thread ended up being locked.
If you were a subscriber before the cutoff date, your subscription continues with the discount. But upon any interruption in payment, if you wish to restart the subscription you must pay the same price as a new user who has never spent a penny on Logos.
To this day I do not understand the anger of (at least a few) other Logos users.
The thread is locked now, but I think you can still read it …
It's gone from owner discount/dynamic pricing to a loyalty discount. You lapse in faith for even a moment and you pay the price.
I look at it positively … discourages subscriptions unneeded.
Thank you for your responses and feedback.
Yes, I only subscribed to save 5% on my order. I will cancel it before the first renew.
The fact that I no longer get any discount for my logos 10 ownership (I own every single feature of logos 10) is concerning. But whatever, I actually hope that Logos will go back to Christian ownership and commonsense management instead of post-modern socialistic (no ownership possible), money-focused management. (Logos, if you don't like my post just delete it.)
According to this previous post, everyone who owns Logos 10 and is a subscriber should STILL be receiving their Logos 10 discount at their renewal date:
Here is the specific quote from Jason's post back in September that states that present subscribers have locked in their price with a continued subscription:
Logos 10 owner who’s already subscribed?
Carry on! You’ve already locked in the best price on the new Logos with your continued subscription.
So KeenUser, you might want to contact Logos tomorrow and verify this information.
