Last few Metadata Errors for TJL Journals for 4.0d Beta 4

Hi,

I found that most of the TJL Metadata information are already fixed for this beta. The following are a few left to be fixed.

Bibliotheca Sacra Volume 32: Missing series tag
Bibliotheca Sacra Volume 74: Wrong Publisher tag (Bibliotheca Sacra Company) should be (Oberlin College)
Christian Apologetics Journal Volume 7: Missing series tag

Some corrections have been made for B. Sacra under the heading "Corrections addressed by Logos"

Some corrections are indicated for Christian Apologetics Journal under the heading "Corrections needed".

If you think corrections are still needed then add them under the heading "Corrections needed" (only Logos update "Corrections addressed by Logos")

The reason I reported here is because this is specific to 4.0d Beta 4. Some how the shipped version of Logos still has the metadata error as reported in Wiki. I am glad Hampton has fixed it.

I'm confused. Are you saying that 4.0d has not received metadata corrections that 4.0c has received?

It is the other way round, 4.0d Beta 4 received more of the metadata corrections that 4.0c did not. I am confused too. Like to hear from the others that own TJL & B&S.

I don't own these resources, but the metadata is stored in separate files from the resources and both are independent from the Logos engine, so it shouldn't be dependent on whether you've got 4.0c or 4.0d Beta 4. Hampton did say he had made the fixes on the ftp server and will ask Logos to push them out. So maybe that means we don't get the metadata updates automatically just when they're updated, but have to wait for a software update which causes them to be downloaded for us. And perhaps that's why 4.0d Beta 4 got the updates but 4.0c didn't. I'm not sure how all of this works, so this is must my (un)educated guess.

Based on the link Hampton provided (which is not the logos ftp server), the corrections seem to have been to the 3.0 files, with the expectation that Logos would do whatever was necessary to get the changes out to users (current 3.0, 4.0c and beta 4.0d). Updated 3.0 files only of those resources are available via the link. That suggests that previously the files needed fixing for all versions and the problem was not specific to 4.0c.

Ah, you're right. I read that link too quickly and assumed it was the Logos server. I thought it was odd that Hampton had access to it, but understandable given their partnership with Logos. Turns out my eyes were just deceiving me. [:$]
