BUG: Library

If I have selected more than one item in the library and then click the circled i to show information (and set tags) Logos4 informs me that there are no resources selected. If I reverse the order, it works fine. But when I have the library docked and in a narrow format, I need to close the information window to see what I am selecting.

I cannot reproduce this with the column selection you show, or with any other column, after setting tags.

If I reverse the order, it works fine.

I don't understand this. What is being reversed?

She means the order in which she does the clicks. So clicking the (i) before selecting the resources works fine for her.

Having said, that, I can't reproduce the bug at all - no matter what order I do things in.

I can reproduce what you are saying if I add library tab into same tab as favourites

and if you click the info windo it all messed up

but what really concerns me is this.. our metadata is different.. I thought it was meant to be "forced correct" by Logos, yet you show as monograph I show as Journal.. seems odd to me..

I'm not able to reproduce no matter what I click first or what panel it is in, docked or floated.

MJ - Does your Library open as part of a snapshot? If it does, and you close it, then open from toolbar, does the same behavior occur?

Never thought to use it because it involves horizontal scrolling to make a selection instead of opening the resource!

No, but I'm not having the problem this morning. I suspect there was something I did earlier which set up the condition because I repeated it 4 times in a row last night using different books as test cases. I'll see if it reappears when I continuing straightening out my collections.

Okay, it has starting happening again. This time I only had 1 item selected so that was a red herring. However, I was again making a number of changes to my collections. This time I should have logs as well as a picture.

It looks from that graphic that you haven't got any items selected. Just because The Handbook to Bible Study is selected (highlighted blue) in your collections panel, and it's visible/expanded under the author's name in your library, doesn't mean it's selected in your library. It looks to me like it's not. It would be highlighted blue if it were selected.

Sorry I wasn't careful enough in grabbing the screen shot. I repeated the error with the item selected 3 or 4 time ... but wanted my screen shot to not include some of my work. If I get back to it, I'll grab another screen shot.
