L4B4 Version 2 installed just fine this morning

I had L4B4 up and running on a couple of machines this morning -- all seemed well when I got a balloon in the lower right offering me the opportunity to say how I wanted to handle updates. I said do it automatically, and since it showed 25mb ready, I said download

The icon on the systray then said their were L4 updates available and I clicked Ok -- that update went just fine.

I checked my Help | About screen (see atchd) and found that I'm still running L4B4, but it is a different release from the one I downloaded last night.

P.S. There are no new log files to submit -- probably because you are only logging error files and nothing errored out this time. But, I thought I'd let you know

I envy you Dale. I have the most recent version, but it is still indexing.

I downloaded both portions this morning back to back. It downloaded the main 2GB file and then prepared my library and started indexing. Within an hour or so that box you mentioned popped up and it downloaded something else and then started preparing my library again. It just finished indexing and it only took 5:16 which is half the time as before: 12:04. Whatever they did it certainly upped the indexing speed for which I am thankful.
