I ran a PG on 1 Peter 1:1-2 and took a look at the handouts; very nice.
BUT
Notice that the info on the left side (the check box area) is jumbled up together....I can't read it.

I'm curious what your screen resolution is, that looks like everything is trying to flow into too small of an area. I've not seen that before.
Handouts: don't check everything by default.

Is your preferred Bible a Greek Interlinear? I'm able to reproduce this when I change my preferred to the NA27INT. I will report it, but meanwhile, you may want to temporarily change your preferred Bible to a non-interlinear when creating Handouts.
