I updated to beta 12- it went through the process but it has now been signing in for 10 mins.
anyone else have this issue?
Stopped log in- now L$ will not restart at all- just gives L4 logo and never opens up program.
Have you tried to restart your computer?i've seen this when L4 does not completely close (task manager still may show L4 as loaded, but not visible on the desktop)
I didn't experience this Whndell. I would suggest a reboot, or loading task manager and killing the process before restarting L4.
I did the reboot and it forced L4 to complete the update- but now it is a resource hog- I mean big time using 180- 230,000 k memory- it never done this before.
Let's see I have 14 resources open at 242,352K
I have home page at 223,272- with spikes in cpu usage hitting 70+ %- memory hanging around 1.36 gb
Closing L4 drops cpu 7% and memory 968mb.
The beta12 update asked me to reboot to finish the install, and it started up automatically after the reboot. Can't remember it doing that before.
I'm now sitting here with Logos using 262,536K of memory with 12 resource windows, a search, a passage guide, and 4 tools windows. That seems normal to me.
CPU is not being significantly used.
Updated with no problem or reboot requested. Have 13 resources open, Exegetical Guide, Passage Guide, Text Comparison, Lookup, Info, Prayer List, Search pane and hovering between 136 - 138k
I have restatrted L4 twice now- and have been using for a while- it seems to have settled down, the performance has improved.
I now have about 15 resources open and it is only using about 140k which is about where it was, the speed has also picked up- it was very sluggish before.
I guess restarting it has settled what ever issues were going on.
