3007.Logos4IndexerCrash.txtI've been trying to get Logos installed on a netbook. All is well until the indexer crashes near the end of its work. I have tried everything - rebuilding the index, clean sweep re-install. Anyone out there know what I need to do to get this silly computer Logosized?

Gordon, the error appears to be happening when the operating system is processing data to thread through your multi-threaded CPU. So it may not be an error in Logos but in the underlying operating system which Logos simply triggers. The developers might need to help out with this but you do have a minimal amount of memory for Logos 4, perhaps that is the underlying cause. Sorry, I haven't seen this before and don't have any suggestions.
The suggestion Tony made to follow the install procedures on a second computer might work around this problem. If you transfer the data files including the index files from an existing working installation, that would get around the indexer problems. However they might return the very next time you try to do an indexing on the computer. It would be good to understand and eliminate (if possible) the underlying cause of the problem.
Excellent! Thanks!

This looks very similar to an issue we've been doing some work on in 4.2, but I can't tell for sure without the full Logos4Indexer.log file; can you post it here? (http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging)
