Windows to Mac

I have never been too excited about Microsoft windows. Do you think that Logos might allow an exchange of licenses? What I am getting at is since I have a Logos4 package for Windows and bought a Mac would Logos allow me to surrender my Windows license even up for the Mac version or would I have to buy a whole new Logos program for Mac?

You don't have to buy anything. Simply download the install from Logos onto your Mac, log in, and everything else downloads and syncs. You own the books, regardless of what you're reading them on.

IOW, it's NOT like MS Office, where you have to buy the Windows and Mac versions separately

Good news! You don't have to surrender any license. You already own the license to the Mac version, since it's all one and the same license. You can just download the Mac version and install it and log in with your Logos account email address and you'll be happily on your way.

Somewhere I believe someone has written up a method for copying all your resources and indexes over to the Mac without having to wait for the download and indexing all over again. I know you can do it from PC to PC and Mac to Mac for sure. Not positive about PC to Mac. Nobody would want to make that too easy for you, now, would they? We PC folks don't want to encourage defection. [;)]

With the release of the new MacBook Air I keep getting more and more tempted. However I view it as a way to display the fruit of the Spirit. : )

Resource copying between PC and Mac (or Mac and PC) can be done safely - file content identical.

However, PC and Mac have different paths to files (e.g. location column in Resources table within ResourceManager database file) - so copying database files cross platform not viable - better to copy resource files and scan.
