I got another log file from today and am inserting it. I only hope I am doing this right! I am kinda desperate with church tomorrow I needed to finish my sermon. Thank God I still have Libronix 3.0 as a back up!

Wesley,
It would help to have the Indexer log file (not the crash file which you have submitted) and the Logos4 log file from the same time period. Can you zip them and include them in a post?

These are unusual errors that I haven't seen reported from indexing before. One possible cause is hardware failure resulting from inadequate cooling. (The Logos 4 Indexer can make a system run hotter than normal.) For other reports on similar problems and how they've been solved, see http://community.logos.com/forums/p/17747/133646.aspx#133646, http://community.logos.com/forums/p/24540/185592.aspx#185592, or http://community.logos.com/forums/p/25756/191954.aspx#191954.

After reading the post you provided I got out my old "Chill Pad" and even with both fans in the chill pad blowing at top speed and it still makes the same messes up.
From what I could decipher from the log files (which ain't much) the indexer almost makes it to the end getting within a few files then it freezes and does it again. I even tried deleting the old log files and start all over anew but the same thing happens over and over and over . . . .

Another little fact just in. I have downloaded and am running Disk-Moniter on my laptop and as long as i use the chill pad fan while indexing I have a big geen OK on the heat. Still, while that speeds things up and helps take care of my laptop the indexer is like the Energizer Bunny "it keeps going and going and going" [8-)]
I am trying to keep my cool, but I fear I am just going to have to uninstall Logos 4.2 beta 6 and start all over with a normal L4 [:(]

Alas i finally just uninstalled then re-installed 4.2 beta 6 and whatever problem or file causing the indexer to do what it did is now gone! I hope [*-)]
I am going to still keep up the Chill pads fans blowing and keep an eye on just how hot my laptop might get.
