12 Days of Logos - Christmas Special - Which resources would you like to see most

Christmas will hit us pretty fast this year. Now if I remember correctly, Logos always seems to do some super special sales come Christmas time (I specifically remember buying the "Commentary on the NT use of OT" last year for a great price) .
Believing that those who have control over which resources get their prices slashed can read this thread. I am hoping our suggestions on which resources we would like to see on sale become a reality.
I would personally like to see these resources be available on one of the 12 Days of Logos:
Roy Zuck Vital Issues Series

Congrats and enjoy! I recently got the new Ipod Touch. It was advance payment for assistant coaching for my wife and her 6-8th grade girls basketball team...
probably should have gone higher :-)

Philip, I really wanted the Touch because it would travel lighter but my eyes are terrible so I opted for the big brother. I learned from buying the smaller Kindle right before the larger model came out! I'm just too old for tiny screens now. [8-|]

Now what I would like to see is the "Library Builders" that they offered the 2 or 3 years before L4 came out. These were fantastic deals. For around $400 Logos put about 100 items on 3 CD's. These items were a good mix of mid-level commentaries and various pastoral helps. They were exactly as described - building your library. As I recalled they tried to put items together that were not part of most of the base packages. When I asked why they did not continue doing it, the sales people said that they did not have enough new products to warrent this great deal for the next year.
However, since it has been a few years and Logos has ramped up the speed at which they convert pre-pubs to pubs, I think they should bring this back. There are so many different books that they could get together that are not part of any package (including portfolio), that it would make most everyone happy.Charles

Great question! The main resource I'm interested in at present is:

Of course, if I had a "wish list", I'd have a lot more resources I could quickly refer to and add to this thread.

I would take away Pannenberg on the condition we upgrade to Portfolio where it is included!
On the first day of Christmas I would like to see the Church of God Digital Library for devotional reading on the tablet I haven't got yet. ?

I am waiting for the IVP Essential References 3.0 to go on the December Sale list. I'm also hoping Logos will put IVP Dictionary of the Old Testament bundle on the list.

Use my laptop at Church weekly (I take notes on the sermon) - it is often wired into the church projector - the screen is 96 inches wide

There seems to be no consensus, not even on one resource. I noticed someone else suggested the AYD. I hope at the very least this is one of the Christmas specials.

1. Evangelical Dictionary of Theology, Elwell
2. New Testament Theology, Schreiner
3. SESB for Logos Users
4. Romans (ICC), Cranfield (both volumes)
5. Acts (ICC), Barrett (both volumes)
6. 2 Corinthians (ICC), Thrall (both volumes)
7. Matthew (ICC), Davies and Allison (all three volumes)
In the spirit of the season, I'll leave the other five for others to pick.

I'd vote for that list, though I probably couldn't afford to buy it, even at sale prices.
December is looking to be another big prepub month. (arggh. do I cancel or spend?)

That's a great list Mark! Even though I own the ICC series and would "miss out" on the bargains - it probably would hold the hopes of many.

Me either. Unless we got a March Madness-like 75% off. (The irony here is that the whole ICC NT would probably cost less than all those volumes individually.) And my book budget will be shot in December.
I got the best Christmas gift already, so no problem if I don't get any of these.

Probably more folks would go for the lighter fare. Maybe a 12 Days of Christmas for Scholars, Pastors, and Seminarians? (We'd have to include Rosie, of course. She wants in on everything.)

If one of these were on super-sale, I would buy it:
Gottingen Septuagint
Stuttgart
Electronic Study Bible (SESB), Version 3.0 (52 vols.)The Complete Spurgeon Sermon
CollectionJohn Piper Collection
Theological Journal Library,
Volumes 1-100 -
I will probably buy something during the sale, but how about a discount on all existing pre-pubs that one has in their cue, say ten or twenty percent off. That would be a great Christmas gift!

The Works of John Owen (17 vols.) (I got Owen on Hebrews.)
Baker Hermeneutics Collection (14 vols.)
Sheffield/T & T Clark Bible Guides Collection (44 vols.)
International Critical Commentary (53 vols.)
I doubt these CD based products would go on sale but here's hoping!
WallBuilders American Foundations Digital Library
The Ultimate Archaeology CollectionAnd let's go for the whole collections this time. In last year's sale I passed on a lot of individual titles because I wanted the whole collection and would not save by buying some twice.

I have several Pre-pub orders coming up in December, so I guess I can concider those as my Christmas gifts, or I could suggest tax-refund discounts, Christmas in July discounts, October-fest specials, and fall-back pricing specials, in other words, specials for every month.[:D]0
