Copy; Toolbar

I know this is a VERY elemental question, but how do I copy text from Logos 4 to my word processor? I don't see an icon or place to click on my tool bar.

There are several ways to copy from a resource to a word processor.

A common way is to select text/images in a resource then use the Right Click menu or use the keyboard Ctrl C to copy the selected data to the clipboard. Then you can paste it into your word processor.

Use your mouse to drag over the text to select (notice it turns blue).
[for image, right click over the image]
Right click over the selected text (or image) and a pop-up menu appears. On the right side of the pop-up menu click on Selection (for text) or Image (for image)
On the left side of the menu, click on Copy. (this copies it to your clipboard)
Click where you want to paste in your word processor and paste it there.

Or you can click in the resource's menu and select Print/Export or press Ctrl P on the keyboard to open the print window and from there use the Export feature to send it to your word processor. (this method is preferred when copying text & image together)

Click on the resource's icon. A drop down menu will appear.
Click on Print/Export and a Print window will open

Or if your resource is a Bible, then you can use Copy Bible Verse to send Bible verse(s) to your word processor. See wiki page Copy Bible Verse for more details.

On the toolbar, click on Tools. (this opens the drop down Tool menu
Click on Copy Bible Verses or on your keyboard press Ctrl Alt B.
This open the Copy Bible Verse window for copying Bible verses to the clipboard or directly into a word processor.

Assuming your copy of Logos is up to date: Select text > CTRL-C > switch to word processor > CTRL-V. (These are standard Windows commands.)

To copy Bible text use the Copy-Bible-Verse (CBV) module (you can use the Tools menu or CTRL-ALT-B to bring it up).

EDIT: Steve's response (which came in betwen my reading yours and finishing my response) is much more detailed than mine. (Good job Steve!)

Sorry, figured this was a slow night since it had not been answered earlier. (i was busy watching Monday Night Football [:O] ). Thanks Richard!
