Thanks, I can't seem to repro. In step 3, when you say Add, do you mean typing that into the reference text box, or clicking add-item and then typing that into the find box?
Edit: Also the log says the error came from a clippings document function, can you confirm that indeed you were using handouts? Can you reproduce this?
I mean typing into the reference text box. The add-item and then typing a reference works fine.
Here are snapshots of me opening the handout adding the reference and getting the error. The new zipped log files are included.
I just reproduced the same error on my AMD X2 3Gb Vista Ultimate (32bit) SP2 machine at home. I've included the log files from that machine here.
