I did a search on "miss the mark", and the search engine 'found' this phrase in my note files. The problem is that my note files are empty. Here are some screen shots.
It looks like L4 "missed the mark" here [;)]

I'd say they originally had that text and then you removed it!
Here's how I reproduced it:
And it can be incredibly difficult to find text in a note file!
I'd say they originally had that text and then you removed it! . . . but the next search may not find it

Very true, they at one time (several months ago) did have text, and I did remove the text from these note files (several months ago), and I have upgraded L4 beta a couple of times since my note files had data.
What I believe is happening is, that once data has been removed (deleted/changed) from the note files it is not being removed from the index.
When I looked in the log it took about 3 minutes for the Document Manager to rebuild the document index after creating or deleting a note entry. Before that happened a search would not find a new Note phrase or would continue to find a deleted Note phrase. But this is obviously not always the case!
I still have this issue. I am wondering if items are being removed from the index when the user uses the command "import delete all."
